I hate to hear storys like that one because it gives the reason to doubt, not everyone is honest and if they aren't there should be some kind of punishment for it.However not all sellers are dishonest but it effects them too- it puts just alittle more doubt in potential buyers and thats not fair, I sell tractors on ebay often and I'm one of the "good gals" so to speak, I try very hard to be honest in my descriptions and information via pictures or email contact.I hate to hear these stories because I know it leaves a bad taste in the mouth's of those who it happen to but, don't give up on all of us I enjoy finding tractors for people all across the country.--Lildragonfly

12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
