We were looking at ranches back when we were looking. At that time,we could have bought nice places,mostly open with water and good newer ranch style homes,good out buildings,300-450 acres for $1000 an acre. Bigger places,less per acre because once you got past the value of the buildings,the land prices came down. Fenced vacant land with water at that time was 4-600. We should have sold out here and bought then,but hindsight is 20/20.
