I have an old brass steam whistle. A local feed store closed down. It had been some sort of chicken processing factory in it's heydays. Anyway, we had been one of their best customers, and the last day one of the workers showed me a brass whistle on an old boiler. He said I could have it. That was in about 1974, and I was 20.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
