JOHN DEERE !!!!! After all the trouble with the archives and collector club junk, you would think IT was getting Bad! Nope, enter Chris Young from Eunice La. A fine young guy with a slight handicap. (a J. D. lover to the bone.) He wanted to visit the John Deere Co. He made the trip to the factory and took a full tour. J. D. rolled out the red carpet, put him up in a first class hotel, and picked up the tab. They took him to the J. D. Collector center and gave him anything he wanted from the collector's store. A local tractor salvage company (Tom Klumpp) gave him a styled "D". Some of the local club members gave it a paint job. He is missing a front grill and good rear tires. The club is going to raise the money for the tires. If anyone has a decent grill please let me know. This is a great kid and John Deere is a good company!!!!!! Larry Leger
