Not a JD guy but have sorta followed the Foose 4020 thing. When Mr Foose is finished with it if the tractor will still perform the tasks it was designed to do when new I'll be happy with it. And if it comes to the Twin Cities on the tour I would go see it. Maybe they'll have hot dogs. How many hours was on the tractor when you started by the way? 40 years without having to repair the components you mention is pretty good.
