Well lets think this out. The rim is 38 inches and then the tire is what maybe 12 inches from rim to the lugs so then you have to add not just 12 inches but 24 inches since the tire is all the way around the rim so 38 plus 24 would be 62 inches times pie so the chains would need to be 16.25 foot long give or take a tad bit and probably about 18 inches wide so you would have about 2.5 inches hang over on each side
