This is very interesting as I'm leaving Fri. for Saskatchewan to bring back a styled "D". The forcast for Wed is snow ! I always load my 770 frontwards, but I also load it with the trailer facing down-hill. The crawler I back on, mainly because the blade can do wonderful things to the trailer fenders, plus the traction is almost non-existent. I'm going to load the D frontwards- I get better choice of weight distribution that way - this is a 10,000 lb. gooseneck by the way. If the brakes are funny on any machine, you should be familiar enough with them to control it.
