I'm in need of a used, cheap tractor. I have 54 acres of farmland that has been more or less neglected for the last several years (decades)? There are a few cleared fields, but it's mostly heavy brush now. I need a tractor to do everything from pull a bush hog to plow snow in the winter. I've never bought (or even used) a tractor before, so I'm pretty much in the dark with this. I do know I want an old tractor -- even if I had the money for a new one, I'd rather get a vintage model. I'm looking at Ford 9Ns and a couple of old AC models (B, WD45). My budget is around $2-3K. Any suggestions anyone could offer on which is best -- and what to look for in buying one -- would be appreciated.
