Since I do not have a controlled paint booth, I am hard pressed to pay $100 to $200 for a gallon of automotive paint. So I go to the farm store and find VanSickle Implement paint at about $20 a gallon. This is just what I need except they don't have Case Desert Sunset or Massey Harris Straw Yellow. I called VanSickle Paints and found that they do have formulations for several of the colors not stocked at the farm store. They are available through the retailer as a special order but not usually at the off-the-self price since it will probably be mixed by the gallon. One store said I would have to buy 4 gallons of the same color. Anyway, to get to the point, VanSickle does not stock these paints because of no demand. Obviously, if people don't know they have it, there will be no demand. To generate a demand for the less common colors, email Dan Reigert at dan.reigert@vansicklepaint.com and let him know the colors you would like produced in a stock quanity and the number of gallons you would be interested in.
