I agree with you on the State throwing money around trying to create jobs. Guy I know has been out of work as a toolmaker for awhile. Government (Fed & State) is paying for him to go to school to be an HVAC tech. Know how many experienced HVAC techs there are that are out of work? LOL.
Granholm is going to spend several hundred thousand dollars to "train" entrepreneurs. I laughed so hard. Entrepreneurs don't need training, that's what makes them entrepreneurs. They just go out and DO IT.
Government doesn't create jobs, private industry does. The "stimulus" was the biggest joke around. Only winners were the sign companies that were paid millions of dollar to make the signs on every road project paid for with stimulus funds.
The problem with politicians is that they think they know how to solve our problems for us, when in fact, they are the biggest cause of our problem. As the old saying goes "If a guy shows up on your door saying I'm from the govt and I'm here to help you, hang on to your wallet".
