Ground through some real hard Ice/Snow piles to get back in the wood. Cut some Ironwood for firewood and to give some young White Pine some added sunlight. Ya, can cut for a long time and dull a chain without getting a big pile of IronWood. They are about 6 inches across on the stump and tapers quickly with lots of limbs. Any place people had walked much or I had driven with the tractor you just had to let the chains eat through the hard stuff. Yup theres fluid in the tires.
