D17 would be a good option- in between size of those you"ve mentioned...fewer transmission or rear end problems (early 190XT had rear end problems, not transmission- any tranny fails with gear grinders). PTO and hyd are live, not independent- many here do not seem to know the difference. More units out there, easy to find parts. Stay away from the diesel if you want reliability. On a hobby farm, total fuel use is not an issue.
