While mowing in weeds 6 feet high, I have encountered a mattress, TV set, 94 pound bag of Portland cement (set up), truck tire inner tube, automobile battery. Went round big time with cable company when their contractors left metal sheathed 1 1/8" dia. cable scraps in my hay field. They told me that "This almost never happens". Went to 15 poles in my neighborhood and found similar things from the cable work at 9 of the poles. This stuff would be rough on mowers and balers.
