The objects we found are not very interesting but how we found them is. When I was about 8 and still riding with Dad on the tractor he was plowing and noticed something was wrong with how one of the bottoms was turning the dirt. He stopped and raised the plow. The share had a steel ring about 3" diameter stuck over the point. Dad it was a harness part and said "what do you figure the chances are of that ring catching the point just right are?" He layed the ring on the deck of the Farmall and after a few rounds I noticed that he had kicked it off. Two years later, you guessed it, I hooked a ring in the same way in the same part of the field. I held it in my hand this time and threw it in the fence row when I got to the end of the field.
