If I think what I think it is, the 18-28 is the standard tread version of the 18-27 which was a rowcrop machine. Both of these tractors are actually OLIVER tractors that were designed and produced right after OLIVER merged with HART PARR and a few other companies. Hope this helps.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
