I maintain 28 12 volt and about 10 6 volt batteries in various pieces of equipment: snowmobiles, tractors, cars, boats, motor cycle, four wheeler, moped, electric truck, etc. I put an ounce of hydrogen peroxide in the cells once a year and it really seems to help. Still end up replacing a few a year. As a side note, I have a small motorcycle size battery that is now in the wave runner, that is 15 years old and holds a charge all winter. Last summer the wave runner only went out twice.
