A lot will depend on if you have a 3 point set up or the snap coupler set up. The 3 point system pushes thing out away from the tractor more and in doing so causes the front to get light faster and also works the lift harder. But yes you should be able to lift 1200lbs with no problem if the pump and cylinder are in good shape. Shoot with the old plows they used if you hooked a root you could pick the front end up and change a flat tire up front
