I leave my truck running to keep the inside cool in the summer and warm in the winter, and alot of times when I stop it quicker to leave it run and do what I got to do and get rolling again than it is to wait for it to cool down so I can shut it off, I even drove a few trucks that I wouldn't shut off unless I was in the yard in fear of the fact it might not start again. some of it is probably just out of old bad habits now day's and some do it because they have a co-driver sleeping or a pet in the truck and it don't take long for the cab to get hot or cold, just like a car
