As is the word Yea which way back when I lived in TN I got in trouble for using in school and the teacher called my parents to complain about the fact I said yea instead of yes. From there is got funny because my dad answer the teacher many times with yea. Teacher was getting madder every moment and my dad said hey cool down I'm German and so is my son and that is the way a German talks so leave him alone or you will have to answer for being prejudice so as that term kid for children all depends on how you where raised and the culture you where raise in
