I grew up in one of the little hill towns in New England in the 50's- 60's and sometimes when the school bus could not make the hills on a snowy day the driver would get all the kids to sit in the rear of the bus for the added weight over the rear wheels. It usually worked too. All the kids used to like to sit at the back because the frost heaves in the road were bad enough to cause the kids to come right up out of their seats. Today's Featured Article - Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
