Got a story about my Great uncle And His Diamond T loaded with HIS sons , running some 2 miles thru the OHIO river backwater on State Road 111 to fetch his daughter .. She Had gone temporarily nuts waiting for her 2 teenaged sons to return that had drowned on the Dairy farm . and would not leave in a BOAT . Great Uncle Joe Arrived there with kin folks .. State Police would not allow Him in the water .. UNCLE JOE would not take NO for an answer .. SP told JOE to take 2 trucks , And They Were at their Own risk , So they took the fan belt off the flat head FORD , 1 hour later When "T" Came Back it was towing the foundered Ford , (some places were 4 ft deep By the grace of GOD they never Lost Pavement ) ... And Uncle JOe Had His Daughter and fine Son in Law .. and That poor State Policeman was so Relieved ... That was 1964...

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
