Tune up mistake

I did a little shade tree tune up and now my 12 volt converted 9N gets no fire to the plugs. I used a Tisco #309786 tune up kit (plugs, points, condenser, rotor, gaskets) and also replaced the cap and plug wires.
Expecting the grey beauty to fire right up, imagine my disappointment. Don't know what I did wrong but have a few questions in thet direction.
1. If the condenser is for 6 volt (is that possible) would that result in no fire.
2. What is the firing order? I marked the wires but may have screwed up. My 14 month old son was "helping" me and my wife was offering advice as well. I have it wired 1234 front to back.
Any suggestions would be very helpful.
