I hear ya. I don't like the current proponents of Industrial Hemp any better than you do, but everytime a University or other institution trys to research the yields and soil impact they are shut down by local, state and the federal governments. Someone is very afraid of this stuff. Either it is because the claims are true and some industries are lobbying against it becuase they feel threatened, or it is the relationship to the smokable kind that is fueling the fears. I say allow the research and go from there. There is no need to use any public monies as there are many private institutions that want to do the research waiting in the wings...
