Less than a year ago I renewed my ancient and tattered concealed carry permit at the Sheriff's office. One stop shop. Fingerprinting was like what you described, and they produced a plastic card on the spot. Poor guy was pretty tight, but when he figured out I was neither an outlaw nor terrorist he loosened right up, and became downright jovial. I don't know devoted law enforcement officials stand their work. As far as language,I couldn't agree more. Recently I was OUT BACK at the shop/business where I used to work. A guy comes wandering down the driveway, muttering unintelligably, with some papers in his hand. Turns out this guy from south of the border had parked his container toting rig in the road, walked by the front and around the whole building, and found me outside! How the he!! did he ever find his way, and how many laws did he break along the way?

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor.
