Depends on what you plan to do with it I guess, but if your lift cylinders are around 3" in Dia. a pump with 11 gpm would do you fine for general around the house use. If you plan to do allot of loading manure or dirt you will want a bit more to decrease cycle time. I have a 13 gpm on my 300 International and it serves me well. Some industrial units have capacities in the 30 gpm but the loader valves cannot take kind of flow so most of it is bypassed. If the pump is too large for your use you will find that your oil is being by passed, of course if you have an open center system on your loader it will not matter much. The reason some Ind. have high flow pumps is for hyd motors on mowers and other items. My old neighbor had a 7gpm on his and felt it was good enough, but a bit too slow for me.
