Yeah you're probably right about the road. I just had the guy build the mound and put down base rock down for now. It's been a nightmare. There's a 200' section that I can rut out with a 1/2 ton pickup. I ain't paid him yet and he's out there right now digging it up for what will be the third redo. I'm going to have to bring in someone else if it doesn't fix it this time. He's trying to rip me off to cover his own loss and I'm not letting him get away with it. I do realize that this job,mainly because of the weather, has kicked his but. But hey he bid the job and told up front not to do the work until the conditions where right. I'm thinking I need to get a roller out there after he's done. Actually I'm being told by my Grandpa that he should have rolled the road to begin with.
