Talk to your neighbours, be honest with them, see what they run and ask who they will deal with either as a dealer or a mechanic. Tally up your results, talk to the dealer or mechanic, make sure you tell them about your budget, see what they recommend. Ask the folks here and they will tell you about the tractors they have had good luck with, but they ain't you. Everybody here might tell you to get a JD, but you may not have a JD dealer for 50 miles. Good luck, don't hurry and don't jump for a fresh paint-job on a piece of crap. Been there.
