If I post a maximum bit of say $75.00 today and the auction doesn't end until Friday. You can have them bid whatever you want. As long as your maximum is not more than mine you will not win. If the maximums are the same whoever bid that amount first gets it. So you have to look at what you are willing to spend on an item and just go for it. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
