We just kinda fell into it....We both grew up with horses. FF and we got together, bought an old farm with a few stalls. Got a horse (gelding) and decided he was lonely. I wanted a quarter horse and wife bought me a mare for my bday. 2 or 3 years later we had her bred and again the following 2 years, got a stallion because we were were tired of driving and paying for service. Imported 4 mares from the States over the last 4 years and I get to shovel a lot of sh!t. We both work full time. I think we wouldn't be able to do it in the States and be comfortable. Here, everything we need as far as feed is within a mile. There is a market for good horses and a butcher for not so good ones. So far they pay for themselves and give us room to play a little.
Only pic I have at the moment is on the website below (have to copy/paste). He's the lower one (black). Soon as the other pics get downloaded and sorted, I'll post some.
The rest of our horses and some past babies are scattered around the site if you feel like clicking around.
