ACE Hardware has thier ACE Rewards card and our local cashiers will badger you to no end just to get your name and adress so they can sell it to another firm that will fill your mailbox with junk mail. NO THANKS!! I tell them I have cash and want to make a purchase, if they don't want my business, I will gladly go elsewhere. The Brass Armadillo antique malls set a person just inside the front door trying to get your info so they can have a "drawing" and give out "door prizes". Every other hour or so they pick a name at random for a door prize. I refuse to go back because of how hateful and persistant one woman was with me and pretty much told me I was an idiot for not signing up to win stuff. If there were no strings attached, they could easily hand me a card with a number on it when I enter, and then just call out a number for the prize. I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday and I haven't spent a dime in thier stores since.
