Can't complain too much. Had a couple of real slow months regarding work (not necessarily unusual for the winter), but things seem to be picking up now.
Don't know much about the bamboo personally, but we have some Forsythia and it looses its leaves for the winter, but still provides a pretty good visual barrier (lots of little branches.) Once established I bet it would grow about 12-18" a year. Like most shrub hedge type plants the more you prune it the thicker it will get, but I kind of like it left unkempt so to speak. Ours are pretty spectacular during the Spring when they are flowering.
