If I understand what is missing, it is the end of the long pipe(the pipe that the pick up teeth attach too). I believe that you have to replace the whole assembly. I have a JD, about the same vintage, I had to replace 2 last year, the pipe assembly was $130, + bearing + special bolts. You can make your own bolt using a grinder to make the head thinner and finding a locking nut (thinner than a normal nut). I had a 469 where the arm broke off like I think yours is. I found the broken piece and was able to weld it back together. If you don't have the missing items you can try and find used. If everything else works fine don't feel too bad about the money to replace the pickup pipe. The 469 will be well worth the investment when you get it back up and running. The beauty of the 469 is that they worked wonderful, sort of a legend, and lighter than say a JD.
