My kid went to London for a week. Finally received her luggage a few hours before returning home, just in time to give it back to the airline for the return trip. Had to buy more clothes and shoes while there but was smart enough to have her uniform in her carry-on. Funny thing was the airline said the luggage was in a warehouse the whole time and didn't have time to deliver to the hotel yet wouldn't let anyone come to the warehouse personally to claim it. Arrrgh. These people must be in training for a government job.
