What pray tell is "Washington money"? Last I checked the government's only source of funds was you and me brother.You make it sound like the great White Father's gift to us. FYI , they took the flippin money from us in the first place. Common sense would tell you to keep track of who they got it from for later reference when considering how to spend it. Bet if I stop paying they have no trouble finding me without that silly census report. Much of our problems started by excusing the government from exercising common sense. Census is a huge waste of money that we all worked hard to earn. Does the utility company send a form to identify the customers? No . That would be stupid. Thay maintain a list of all customers. I love it when people claim they are saving us money. They aren't saving anything. They are spending it like it's water.
