Amen Matthew - a guy not far from me stood his dad's 135 on end while pulling a log uphill in the woods. He was chained to the holey drawbar connected to the three point hitch. He had raised it a little for traction, and when it started rearing, he lowered the hitch control, but it continued to go up until it was balanced on the rear wheels and drawbar. The seat folded and pitched him off the back. Had to get a stepladder to hook the chain to the front to get it down. He has pictures of it standing on end. If I could borrow them, I'd try to post them. A very sobering sight.
By the way - no injuries to either him or the tractor!
By the way again - to the original poster - that's a very nice looking job that you did on that hitch. I remember some stiffener bars that went from the lower three point pins to the upper three point pin. They kept the lower arms and holey drawbar from raising on the little Fords.
