some interesting thoughts here...some food for thought.....if everyone belonged to the union there would be no advantage except against the employers who would be forced overseas to where there is no unions.the way i see the main idea behind the union is to gain an unfair advantage over your fellow workers...seems to me when the USA went off the gold standard it upset the whole world mometary system which used the dollar as a standard . i remember when oil prices went up in the 70's and everyone blamed the arabs .well what really happened was the price of things that were being sold to the arabs skyrocked and the oil buyers wanted to continue buying oil with devalued money. i dont blame the arabs a bit as oil is about the only resource they have and when it is gone they will have very little except sand . i am neither a arab, union member or employer....bill b va
