I've noticed this spring that there are quite a lot of crows in our residential neighbourhood, sometimes flocks of 4-6. It reminded me of a few years ago there was one crow who used to stake out a position near one of the local schools and this crow had the whole school population in an uproar because he(she) would often dive-bomb an unsuspecting person who was walking by. Not only dive bomb but actually crash right into the back of your head. Tried it on me a few times but I turned in time and off the bird went. I saw a news item on TV once about a crow in the downtown area of a big city and it was doing the same thing. Is this pretty uncommon or do those rascals just like a good scrap every now and then?
