All our vehicles came with 2 remotes and 2 radio keys. Main driver gets one of each. The other remote is left in house for wife and I who is not the main driver. I put a radio key hidden in the glove box where I can access it when I forget my keys.
I have multiple plain spares made for my billfold, wife to carry and to keep around the house and whereever or whoever may need or want access such as my daughter. The one in my billfold has the plastic handle ground off. I have a habit of leaving keys in the ignition or in a coat pocket or something and leaving the coat after walking a block to parking. Works for me.
