You will have to either remove the cover from the tranny or remove the PTO and go in through the PTO hole. The left axle MUST be pulled out of the bull gear and the gear pulled back out of the way of the pinion gear and it's housing. Only then can you remove the pinion gear & housing, replace the solid pinion gear with the hollow M&W pinion gear and then reinstall. Probably be a good idea to replace the oil seal in the pinion gear housing while you have it apart. The rest is fairly straight forward, you have the manuals so you should do fine. I am pretty sure the clutch was painted the same color as the tractor, the raised lettering was painted white.
