Mike - does it count if we weren't a kid, but were just as excited? I bought my first tractor this February after searching for several months. The previous owner was going to deliver it when I was at the farm for a weekend, so I called him to let him know when we would be there. He said that he didn't think he could get to me that weekend as he was having to feed his cows on two farms and it kept his gooseneck tied up hauling round bales to the two locations. I was on pins and needles waitin' to hear back from him, when he calls and says he has my tractor loaded and he'll be at the entrance to my lane in about an hour. I want to tell you that was the longest hour of my life - seemed even longer than summer vacation used to when we were kids! The excitement of helping him unload that Farmall M and then drive it up my lane to the barn was the greatest.
