It will never change, both parties own radio and TV stations.
If the talk show represents your point of view, it somehow becomes facts / proof bla bla bla.
This is no different than the generations before us that read newspapers and books--they somehow became facts as well.
Entertainment is what it is nothing more, nothing less. Seldom real facts are brougt forth in a untainted view.
We have a gambeling boat near my home town, and hundreds and perhaps thousands of farms have been carried through those doors, and that is a fact. We all assume it is all true, and with out doubt there are many. But as of this date, no one has ever given me a real name, phone number, or the original person that started the fact sounding statment. This little question of facts / gig of mine, has been going on for close to twenty years by the way.
Just as all the facts and loud know it all political views are dumped on this web site, again all are indeed facts in the minds of those that post. And I would probably try to be open minded enough to think that I am no different when I post--simply with my point of view, I expect everyone to think of my posts as facts.
Only a very open minded person can see the real big picture.
Ya have to remember when a politician states facts about the other side -- usualy just entertainment.
We are products of our enviorment, and usualy our beliefs are facts because we were raised with all the correct answers--often called facts.
If the talk shows get under your skin, call the station and tell them so ---That was their agenda to begin with -- ratings.
I choose to avoid 99% of talk shows and radio, as often it reflects how sick our country is.
