Hey guys! I'm getting ready to run in some tractor pulls!!!This is my first year pulling, and I need any advice you guys can give me.... So far I have 800 lbs of weights hung on the rear axel ( I know we have different weight brackets, but I'm just playing around right now), And 7 psi in the rear tires... I am running the stock 10 inch wide tires that come with the model "A". Should I go lower psi? Or not? I'm told that if my front wheels come more than 16 inches off the ground I will be red flaged. Is there a way to keep this from happening? Besides wheelie bars? I'm not afrade of my front end coming off the ground, but I don't want to be flaged... Also, some people tell me that I should shorten my hitch or else I might bend it.. Should I? I've heard of people using paper filters instead of the old "oil bath" air filter on a model A, What brand and type of filter will fit this tractor? Anything else I need to watch out for or work on before this rookie starts pulling? Anything good to practice on??? disc, plow? Thanks!

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
