we had 60 to 70 mph wind today all day, if that wasnt enough about 1pm i started smelling woodsmoke, turned on the scanner sure enough they have 2 big fires going, and 1 is only 3 miles from the house, and upwind from the house, heading my way, im out here at the time by myself all the women are in town and the roads are closed, trying to figure out how to load 4 horses 5 dogs a cat and 4 goats into 1 pickup and 4 horse trailer, the only one available at the time, visibility is about 100 feet, the adrenilin rush today has been something else, right now the fire has kind of layed down for the night hope it stays that way but its still very much burning, lost 2 buildings to the fire so far dont know whose yet, but probably friends of mine ,
