Sounds about like ours. We've replaced the steel on the top, the side braces of the hitch have been patched, the tailgate has been patched 2 or 3x, new apron chain (we bought a whole new one instead of making one), and the beater is in it's 3rd spreader. We had a different 235, that broke the gear box. The beater was replaced in that one with a used one that Dad found in really good shape. The old beater in our current spreader was made with well casing and was really out of balance. Finally lost too many paddles so we swapped beaters.
Ours just might be getting a new coat of paint this year, as it looks worse than yours.
