Me and my Dad have been woking on his ford 4600su for about a month. He parked it about five years ago when the oil and water started mixing in the radiator because of a blown head gasket. When he changed the head gasket the water and oil started mixing in the oil pan. So we decided to try and fix it again and this time we used a different head gasket after we got it put back together we noticed a small hole in one of the freeze plugs in the head. We got that $.97 problem fixed but now the back cylinder is not firing and there's alot of blow by coming out the valve cover and you can smell alot of raw diesel and the oil and water is mixing in the radiator again. We've switched injectors with another cylinder and it didn't affect it at all. Could the wrong head gasket cause it not to fire, and use about a Quart an hour of oil. Can anyone help?
