can I lift a loader bucket with the motor off.

I am trying to get the motor to turn on a tractor with a loader and backhoe. I was going to raise the loader and the stabilizer arms with boom pole on my other trator and secure them some how once they are up. I was going to move the hydraulic control levers to allow the flow of fluid as I did this.
Any ideas if this will work. I can't move the tractor until I get them off the ground.
