the news has reported Il is going to lay off a bunch of state police. between that and those retiring Il will lose about 600 state police officers. Il will lose about 30% of the state police force. the county i live in laid off 27 deputies. i told mrs 730 people are going have to buy hand guns for self protection. only 1 small town in county has full time police i think a couple of them have police at all.
