Just curious what do you guys charge for tractor work by the hour. I have a good friend and several neighbors in the community that want some odd jobs done with my tractor. For example, my friend has had me redo his two shops and mile long home driveways. All intel putting my tractor on my trailer and trucking it at least 10-15 miles one way to get the job done.So far I have racked up 10 1/2 hrs of seat time. I was thinking for the small gardens just pricing a job for the little ole ladies but for him I think by the hour is the way to go. I was thinking about $25-$30 per hour to cover my time, fuel, equipment use and mileage. Does that seem fair for me and him to you guys? My dad always worked by the garden. I plowed snow for him on several occasions this winter and although I was helping him out, I feel I didn't get paid enough. Thanks for the opinions.
