It's a pretty sad sinario when people who live as close to mother earth as these traditional Amish can't make a go of it in NY. Can't figure it out as Mennonites are paying $3,000/acer and building new farm complexes with silos and slurry stores and new homes. Read some where this week that NY could loose another 30% of it's farmers by June 30. Local banks are not lending any crop money, so this is posible. NY is blessed with a disfunctional blind Gov. and a bunch of ethnic politicians from the city who can't even figure out what party they belong to. Election day is coming!!!!, But not soon enough!!

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
