The point was that most tinkers think of hydraulic oil from the scv's. And can't/won't imagine obtaining and returning hydraulic oil from anywhere else. "Tunnel vision" or something. As for cost? Adding one or two more scv's to use the loader and another scv load costs $$$. A "T",a ported filter cover and a joystick is not expensive. With the bonous of a front pump that isn't cavitating. A faster loader that doesn't require pushing the clutch to wait. Has to be a productivity improvement and less wear on the clutch.
